FeaturesLive floorComing soon

Your salon day, played out live.

Live floor turns today’s calendar into a little 3D salon. See who’s free, who’s waiting on the couch and who’s running over, at a glance.

Press play, change the speed or tap a team member. Demo with sample data: the real floor shows only your own bookings, and nothing is made up.

What you see at a glance

Everything on the floor comes from the calendar your team already uses.

  • Who’s freeEach technician at their station, on a break or with a client, with the service and how far along it is.
  • Who’s waiting, and how longChecked-in clients wait on the couch until their technician comes out to get them.
  • Who’s running overA service that runs past its booked time stands out before the next client is kept waiting.
  • Walk-ins, straight awayThe floor runs on the same live calendar as the front desk, so a walk-in added at the desk appears at once.

Three ways salons use it

A screen at the front deskAn iPad or a TV by the desk shows the whole salon. Nobody walks over to ask who’s free.

It measures as it playsStaff tap start and finish, so you can compare how long each service takes, technician by technician, and set lengths that match.
Private by design

Real bookings only. First names on shared screens.

The floor shows what booqwell already knows: who is booked, checked in, with a client or paid. It never invents anything about a real client.

  • First names or initials on a screen clients can see
  • Each person sees what their role allows
  • The calendar stays where the work gets done

Questions

Is it a game?
No. It looks like one, but it only shows what is on your calendar: who is booked, who has checked in, who is with a client and who has paid. The conversations in the demo are made up for fun.
Will it distract my team?
It’s a separate view. The calendar stays where the work is done; the floor is for a glance, or for a screen at the desk. Anyone who doesn’t want it never has to open it.
Will clients see each other’s names?
A screen that clients can see can show first names or initials only.
What does it run on?
Any recent browser: a laptop, an iPad at the front desk, or a TV with a browser.
When can I use it?
It’s coming soon. Salons already on booqwell will see it appear in their console when it’s ready.
