For hair salons

Booking software for hair salons.

Color, cuts and processing time on one calendar, so a stylist can fit a trim in while a color develops. Each stylist keeps their own book and commission, and clients rebook their usual stylist from a text.

No contract. No commission on your clients.

AI that runs the front desk and answers to you.

For your clients

Clients text. It books.

Clients text the salon the way they always have. The AI front desk knows each stylist’s book and how long each color really takes, offers only times that fit, and books once the client says yes. Anyone on your team can step into the conversation.

Processing time that books itself.A color has its application, processing and finish. The calendar keeps the stylist free while it develops, so a trim or a blowout fits in without a double booking.
Each stylist’s own book.Every stylist sets their hours, days off, services and prices. Clients pick their stylist and see only that stylist’s times.
Rebook their usual. At checkout, book the next appointment with the same stylist, six weeks out, in one tap. A reminder goes out the day before.
Commission or chair rent.Pay by commission per service and product, or record chair rent for renters. The owner sees what each chair brought in.
Deposits and no-show fees.Ask for a card when long color or extensions are booked, and charge your late-cancel fee from the appointment in one tap.
Gift cards.Gift cards for birthdays and holidays, sold on your booking page and at the desk.

Keep your card reader. We connect to it for free.

booqwell works with Clover, CardChamp (CardPointe), Square, Dejavoo and Stripe. You keep your merchant account, your terminal and your rates: the card is taken on your own terminal and recorded in booqwell with the tip and the specialist, and booqwell adds nothing per transaction. On Clover and CardChamp, card on file and no-show fees are set up with our team.

How the processor connection works

Moving from Vagaro, GlossGenius, Square or Boulevard?

We bring your clients, upcoming appointments, services, prices and gift card balances across with you on an included setup call. Most salons are live within a week, and your old system keeps running until you’re ready.

Priced per location. No cut of your sales.

We quote booqwell per location for your team. No commission on your clients and no markup on card payments.

The color develops. The day runs itself.

Clients book their usual stylist without calling. The calendar fits a trim in while a color processes. At the end of the month each stylist’s commission is already worked out. You spend the day behind the chair, not on the phone.

Hair salon questions

Does the calendar understand processing time?
Yes. A service can have an application, a processing gap and a finish. The stylist is free during the gap, so another short service can be booked into it without overlapping.
Can each stylist set their own prices?
Yes. Each stylist can have their own price and length for the same service, so a senior stylist and a new one can both be booked online.
Do you handle chair rent?
Yes. Pay stylists by commission on services and products, or record chair rent for renters. You can mix both in one salon.
Can clients book by text?
Yes. Clients text your salon and the AI front desk books, moves or cancels on your real calendar. Nothing is booked until the client confirms, and anyone on your team can take over the conversation.
Can I take a deposit for color or extensions?
Yes. Ask for a card when certain services are booked and set your late-cancel fee. Clients see your policy before they book.
Do you charge me when a new client books?
No. There is no marketplace, so there is no new-client fee. Clients book on your salon’s own address and stay your clients.
How many stylists can I have?
As many as you need. You don’t pay per stylist: booqwell is priced per location and quoted to your business. Ask us through the contact form.
