One system for every kind of barbershop.

Classic shops.Four to ten chairs, regulars who book weeks ahead, and a front desk that sees every barber at once.
Walk-in shops.A queue that shows clients the wait and slots walk-ins between bookings, so nobody’s chair sits empty.
Solo barbers.Your own booking link in your bio, reminders sent for you, and payment taken in the chair.
Barber suites. Each barber runs their own book, prices and clients under one roof, and the owner collects the rent.

AI that runs the front desk and answers to you.

For your clients

Clients text. It books.

Regulars text the shop the way they always have. The AI front desk checks each barber’s real book, offers only times that are free, and books once the client says yes. It moves and cancels too, and any barber can step into the conversation.

For you

Ask your shop anything.

What did each barber take in last week? Who’s free for a walk-in at two? Tony is off Saturday, move his clients. It answers from your own calendar and sales, and shows you every change before it makes it.

Walk-ins and bookings on one list.A walk-in is a booking that starts now. The queue and the calendar are the same list, so a client booking online never takes a chair that already has someone waiting.
Each barber’s own book.Every barber sets their hours, days off and the services they offer. Clients pick their barber first and only see that barber’s times.
Rebook before they leave. At checkout, book the next cut with the same barber, three weeks out, in one tap. A reminder goes out the day before.
Commission or booth rent.Pay each barber by commission per service, or record booth rent for barbers who run their own book. The owner sees what each chair brought in.
Fast checkout.Cut, beard, a product, a tip: done on your own card reader in a few seconds. Tips are tracked per barber.
No-show protection.Ask for a card when clients book and charge a no-show fee from the appointment in one tap. Clients see your policy before they book.

Keep your card reader. We connect to it for free.

booqwell works with Square, Clover, CardChamp (CardPointe), Dejavoo and Stripe. The card is taken on your own reader and recorded in booqwell with the tip and the barber, so your payouts come straight to you at the rates you already pay. booqwell adds nothing per transaction.

On Square, keep your Square Terminal, Register or Reader for payments and use booqwell for booking.

Moving from Booksy, theCut, Squire or Square?

We bring your clients, upcoming appointments, services and prices across with you on an included setup call. Most shops are live within a week, and your old system keeps running until you switch over.

On a marketplace, new clients can cost you. Booksy, for example, charges 30% of a new client’s first visit, up to $100, when they find you through its Boost feature. booqwell has no marketplace and no new-client fee.

Priced per location. No cut of your sales.

We quote booqwell per location for your shop. No commission on your clients and no markup on card payments.

Bookings come in while you cut. Walk-ins land on the list without anyone at the desk. At the end of the week each barber’s take is already added up. You spend the day with the people in your chair, not with your phone.

Barbershop questions

Can walk-ins and appointments share one list?
Yes. Add a walk-in in one tap and they go on the same list as the bookings. Online booking only offers times that are really free.
Can each barber have their own hours and services?
Yes. Each barber sets their own hours, days off and services. Clients choose their barber and see only that barber’s times.
Do you handle booth rent?
Yes. Pay a barber by commission per service, or record booth rent for barbers who run their own book. You can mix both in one shop.
Can clients book by text?
Yes. Clients text the shop and the AI front desk books, moves or cancels on your real calendar. Nothing is booked until the client confirms, and any barber can take over the conversation.
Do I pay anything when a new client finds me?
No. There is no marketplace and no new-client fee. Clients book on your own address and stay your clients.
Will it work with my card reader?
Yes, if you use Square, Clover, CardChamp, Dejavoo or Stripe. You keep your account, your reader and your rates; the card is taken on your reader and recorded in booqwell. On another processor, tell us which one.
How much does booqwell cost?
It depends on your shop. booqwell is priced per location, with no contract and no cut of your sales. Ask us through the contact form and we’ll quote your shop.
How do I move over from Booksy or theCut?
Send us your client list and upcoming appointments, or let us pull them with you on a setup call. We move your clients, appointments, services and prices for you.
