Salon booking software that works with your Dejavoo terminal.
Many nail salons take cards on a Dejavoo. Keep it, and keep the processor and rates that come with it. booqwell runs online booking, reminders, the calendar and client records, and records each payment against its appointment.

Keep your processor. Add everything around the appointment.
Dejavoo makes payment terminals; your rates and merchant account come from the reseller or processor that set yours up. That is why so many US nail salons have one. booqwell works alongside it.
Your Dejavoo setup stays exactly as it is.
- Your merchant accountThe account your reseller or processor set up stays yours. Money goes straight to it; booqwell never holds it.
- Your terminalYour Dejavoo keeps taking cards: a P line or QD line Android terminal, or a Z line countertop.
- Your ratesYou pay the rates your processor set. booqwell adds no fee per payment.
- Your resellerThe company that looks after your terminal keeps doing so. Nothing changes on their side.

No-shows and cancellations
booqwell sends a confirmation when a client books and a reminder the day before, by email and by text. Clients move or cancel from the link in the message, and the time opens up for someone else.
When someone does not come, mark the visit as a no-show in booqwell. It stays on the client’s record, so the front desk sees a pattern before taking the next booking. If you charge a fee, take it on your terminal and record it in booqwell so reports match.
Saving cards at booking and charging fees from the booqwell console are set up for salons on Clover and CardChamp (CardPointe). CardChamp also lists the Dejavoo Z11 among its terminals, so ask us if your Dejavoo came from CardChamp.
How reminders workReports and payroll that match your terminal’s batch
Every checkout in booqwell records what was sold, who did it, the tip and how it was paid: card, cash or gift card. At the end of the day, open Sales and you see the day’s card total next to the batch report your Dejavoo prints at close. If the numbers differ, you can see which ticket is missing or voided instead of hunting through receipts.
Tips are recorded per specialist on services only, never on retail, so commission and tip pay come out right. Team & payroll adds up each person’s services, retail, commission and tips for the pay period, and exports it as a CSV that Gusto’s Smart Import reads, or that your bookkeeper can open in a spreadsheet.
For accounting, Settings › Accounting gives you private data links (CSV or JSON) that a bookkeeping tool can fetch for each pay period. You can revoke a link at any time.

Dejavoo terminals in salons
Dejavoo sells several lines through its partners. booqwell works next to any of them, because the card is taken on the terminal and recorded in booqwell:

Dejavoo questions
- Does booqwell work with Dejavoo terminals?
- Yes. You keep your Dejavoo and the processor behind it. booqwell runs booking, reminders, the calendar and client records, and each payment is recorded against its appointment.
- Is Dejavoo a POS system?
- Dejavoo makes payment terminals, and some Android models run point-of-sale apps. For a salon, booqwell is the booking and front-desk system, and the Dejavoo is where the card is taken.
- Who sets my rates on a Dejavoo?
- The payment company or reseller that set up your terminal, not Dejavoo and not booqwell. booqwell adds nothing per payment.
- Do I need a new terminal?
- No. Keep the Dejavoo you have.
- Is booqwell a good POS system for a nail salon?
- It is built for nail salons first: add-ons that add their own time, walk-ins, group bookings, tips per technician and commission. Your Dejavoo stays the payment side.
- Can clients save a card when they book?
- On Dejavoo, no-show fees are taken on your terminal and recorded in booqwell. Saving cards at booking in booqwell is set up for salons on Clover and CardChamp (CardPointe).
- Will my reports match the terminal?
- Yes, if every sale is checked out in booqwell. The day’s card total in booqwell Sales should match your terminal’s batch.
- Can you move my clients from my old system?
- Yes. We bring your clients, upcoming appointments and services across on the setup call.
